1 lb. ground beef
1 medium onion, chopped
1 clove garlic, chopped
1/2 cup diced celery
1/2 cup green pepper, chopped
2 tbsp oil
2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp pepper
2 tbsp sugar
1/2 tsp paprika
1- 28 ounce can tomatoes
1- 5 1/2 oz. tomato paste
4 cups hot water
2 beef bouillon cubes
2 chili peppers, whole
3 tbsp chopped parsley
2 cups raw potatoes diced
1 cup raw carrots
6 to 7 cups coarsely chopped cabbage

Directions:
Directions:
Saute onions, ground beef, celery and green peppers in oil until browned. Add remaining ingredients and combine thoroughly. Simmer uncovered for 1 hour stirring occasionally. Remove chili peppers and simmer covered for 1 hour longer. If soup is too thick add 1 to 2 cups hot water.
