1 Package large lima beans soaked in water for about 1 hour
1 ham bone with meat still on it
4 stalks of celery cut into ¼ pieces
1 medium onion cut into ¼ pieces
2 large carrots cut into ¼ pieces
Salt and pepper

Directions:
Directions:
Rinse the soak lima beans and place them in a soup pot with the ham bone and remaining ingredients, add salt and pepper to taste. Bring to a boil and turn down to a simmer leave cover and simmer for about 1 ½ hours or until the lima beans are tender.
Place in serving bowls and add some warm milk or cream if you want.
