"As viscous as motor oil swirled in a swamp, redolent of burnt bell peppers nested in by incontinent mice and a finish reminiscent of the dregs of a stale can of Coca-Cola that someone has been using as an ashtray. Not a bad drink, though."--Excerpt from "The Moose Turd Wine Tasting" by T. A. Nonymous

Personal Notes:
Got this recipe from Kathy Kissner. We were at their home with all of the neighborhood Catholics. Father Joppa fixed us chicken wings, and we brought potluck for the rest of the meal.

When Father Joppa was first at St Peter's he offered to go to anyone's home if a person pledged $50 in his name to the Favorite Father's competition for the school marathon. Brought in a lot of money, and he kept busy for several months visiting homes to prepare chicken wings.
