3 C. Flour
3 t. Baking Powder
2 T. Sugar
3/4t. Salt
3/4 t. Cream of Tartar
3/4 C. Butter

1 Egg, beaten mixed with
1/2C. Milk &
1/2C. Heavy Cream mixed together

Directions:
Directions:
In a bowl whisk together flour, baking powder, sugar, salt & cream of tartar. Cut in butter until it resembles course cornmeal. Using a wooden spoon, add milk, egg & cream mixture. Mix together until all of flour is taken up. Do not over mix. Roll out dough into a thick rectangle, cut into 3, Stack and gently roll out again. Repeat process 4 times. Cut into 8 pieces and place into baking pan. Top with butter.
Bake at 375º for 12 to 15 minutes.

Butter tops. Serve.
