1/2 c. lukewarm water
1 envelope yeast
1/2 c. white sugar
1 tbsp vinegar
8-10 c. flour
1 tsp white sugar
1/2 cup tenderflake lard
1 tsp salt
3 1/2 cups warm water

Directions:
Directions:
Dissolve 1 tsp white sugar in 1/2 cup warm water, add yeast and let sit in a warm place for 10 min. Combine 1/2 cup sugar, lard, salt, vinegar and 3 1/2 cups warm water in large bowl. Add yeast mixture. Add enough flour so that dough won't stick to hands. Knead well. Place in greased bowl and cover with cloth. Let rise in warm place for 2 hours. Punch down, knead again and form into buns. Place on greased and floured cookie sheets. Cover and let rise for 3 hours. Bake in 400º oven until golden brown, approximately 20 minutes.
