2 1/2 pounds ground turkey (may substitute beef)
1 brown onion, chopped
1/4 cup chili powder
1 tablespoon cumin
1 1/2 teaspoon chipotle
1 teaspoon black pepper
1 teaspoon oregano
2 1/2 teaspoon salt
1 tablespoon paprika
1/8 teaspoon cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
1 can pinto beans
1 can white beans
16 ounces (can) tomato puree
2 cloves garlic, minced or chopped

Directions:

Create spice mixture using all spices listed above.

Dice and brown the onion in one teaspoon of olive oil. Add ground meat and garlic. Cook for seven to eight minutes on medium heat until meat is cooked through. Add spice mix. Add tomato puree and two cups water.

Simmer on low for one hour, covered. Add beans and simmer for 20 minutes, uncovered.
