Personal Notes:
This is a great “light” dessert and oh, so easy to make.
Bertha Hollingshead worked for us when Bob, Chris and I moved back to Jackson from Starkville in January 1963. She lived down the street from us and took care of Chris when he was a baby. Later when we lived in Richwood she worked for us again when we had Chris, Kenny and Phillip. She didn’t last long with all of them. They were not very nice to her. They called her “Bertha Butt”, I think.
