2 c sugar
1 c Crisco
2 eggs beaten slightly

sift 2 c plain flour

1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp soda
1/4 c cocoa
Add to above mixture a small amount at a time

1 c water 1/2 c buttermilk
1 tsp vanilla
Combine to the other mixture. Batter will be thin.

Icing:
1 box confecting sugar
1/4 c cocoa
1/4 c melted butter
1 tsp vanilla
1/3 c buttermilk
Directions:
Directions:
Bake at 350º till toothpick comes out clean. Maybe 30 minutes?
