5 c. water or chicken broth
2 c cubed ham chunks
8 c. cubed potatoes
1/2 to 1 medium onion to taste
rounded t. salt
2 c. frozen corn or 1 drained can whole kernel corn
1 can canned milk

Directions:
Directions:
Combine water or broth and ham in a stock pot.
Cover and bring to a boil, reduce heat and simmer 20 minutes
Add cubed potatoes
Add chopped onion
Add salt
Simmer 20 minutes with lid on
Add corn
Add canned milk
Simmer until corn is heated through stirring 3 to 4 times about 10 minutes
Can be thickened with corn starch or flour thickener
