2 T butter or margarine
4 beaten egg yolks
1 1/2 c evaporated milk (1 can)
1 1/2 c sugar
1 1/2 c sweetened, flaked coconut
1 c chopped nuts
2 t vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Cut butter into small pieces and put in a sauce pan on medium low heat.
Add milk, sugar, salt and beaten egg yolks to melting butter
Cook over medium heat until boiling and boil for 15 minutes stirring constantly until mixture
thickens. (sit on a stool if you can and read a good book. Seems like this takes forever)
Remove from heat and add coconut, nuts and vanilla
Cool slightly
Spread on cake
