2/3 C. eggs
1 C. sugar
5 T. water
1 t. vanilla
1 C. sifted flour
1 t. baking powder
1/4 t. salt
Jelly, Jam or desired filling

Directions:
Preheat oven to 375º. Line a greased 10 X 15 X 1 inch pan (normal cookie sheet) with parchment paper. Grease paper. Beat eggs until thick and lemon-colored. Continue beating and gradually add sugar. Add water and vanilla. Mix together flour, baking powder and salt. Pour into egg mixture and beat until smooth. Pour into prepared pan. Bake 12 - 15 minutes. Turn upside down immediately on a cloth sprinkled with powdered sugar. Remove paper from cake and cut off edges to prevent splitting when rolled. Spread with jam or jelly. Roll up beginning at short end, quickly and carefully. Leave wrapped in towel until cool. Slice about 1 inch thick and serve.
