Ingredients:
Ingredients:
2 skinless boneless chicken breasts, cubed
1 cup skim milk
1 egg
1 1/4 cup flour
2 tablespoons confectioner's sugar
2 teaspoons salt
1 teaspoon pepper
Canola or peanut oil

Directions:
Note: this recipe requires refrigeration.

In a medium bowl, whisk the egg and stir in the milk. Place chicken in milk mixture and cover for two to four hours in the refrigerator.

In a gallon-sized resealable baggie, combine flour, confectioner's sugar, salt, and pepper. Seal and shake to mix ingredients.

Place about two inches of oil in a medium deep pot. Over medium-high heat, heat oil until hot. Remove chicken from refrigerator. Using tongs, place chicken into flour mixture. Seal and shake until nuggets are coated.

Place six to eight nuggets into the hot oil and cook until golden brown, turning halfway through; about one minute on each side. Remove and drain on paper towel. Repeat until all nuggets are cooked. (A home fryer will work just as well).

Serve with your favorite dipping sauces.

Personal Notes:
Who can resist Chick-fil-A’s delicious chicken? Here is a make-at-home version that I concocted after some fun trial and error. The powdered sugar is the secret ingredient! It’s a great recipe to have on hand when the Chick-fil-A craving hits on a Sunday. A large batch of these also makes a crowd pleasing appetizer.
