1 lb. ground beef
1/4 c. chopped onion
1 tsp. garlic powder
1 - 16 oz. can whole tomatoes
1 - 16 oz. can whole kernel corn, drained
1 can chopped olives
2 tsp. chili powder
1 1/2 tsp salt
1 c. cornmeal
1 c. milk
2 eggs, well beaten
1 c. shredded cheese

Directions:

Cook hamburger and onion in skillet until brown. Drain grease from meat. Add tomatoes (with liquid), garlic powder, corn, olives, chili powder and salt. Heat to boiling. Pour in ungreased 9x9 baking dish or 2 qt. casserole.
Mix cornmeal, milk, and egg. Pour over meat mixture. Sprinkle with cheese. Cook in 350º oven until golden brown, 40 to 50 minutes.
