1 & 1/2 c. flour
3 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
3/4 c. sugar
1/4 c. butter
1 egg
1/2 c. milk
1 tsp. vanilla extract

Streusel Filling:
1/2 c. brown sugar
2 tbsp. flour
2 tsp. cinnamon
2 tbsp. melted butter
1/2 c. chopped walnuts

Directions:
Directions:
Combine flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar. Add butter mixing with a pastry blender. Mix as fine as cornmeal. Blend in well-beaten egg, mix with milk, then blend in vanilla. Beat just enough to mix well. In a separate bowl make streusel by mixing together sugar, flour and cinnamon. Add butter and walnuts. Pour half the batter into well greased 8 inch pan. Sprinkle with half the streusel mixture. Add remaining batter, then sprinkle the remaining of the streusel mixture over the top. Bake at 375º for 25 to 30 minutes.
