Ingredients:
Ingredients:
1 (10 ounce) package Pillsbury crust dough sheet
Meat is your choice: 1/2 lb ground beef, diced chicken, turkey or ham
Turkey pepperoni slices (this makes it the best – but salty)
˝ small green pepper, diced
˝ small red bell pepper, diced
˝ small red onion, diced
1 cup or more of your favorite pizza or spaghetti sauce
6 sliced mushrooms
1 egg
1 T milk
˝ cup shredded cheddar cheese
˝ cup shredded mozzarella cheese or more

Directions:
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees (temperature on Pillsbury dough package).
2. In a skillet over medium heat, brown beef or chicken until no pink shows; drain. If you are using diced turkey and diced ham, no need to heat meat.
3. In separate skillet, cook the veggies and then add the pizza/spaghetti sauce to the skillet. (If you are using marinara sauce, sprinkle garlic powder, onion powder, oregano, and basil over sauce.)
4. Lay pizza dough flat on floured cutting board. Use a floured rolling pin to stretch it out as much as possible. You will be making one large roll. Spray a large cookie sheet with olive oil and transfer dough to cookie sheet.
5. LAYER 1: Meat and Cheese: Layer meat and cheese on one side of the dough and pull the other side over the top to create a long Stromboli log.
6. LAYER 2: Veggie Sauce: Spread the veggie sauce on the meat and cheese layer (so sauce doesn’t touch the bottom of the dough and make it soggy.)
7. LAYER 3: Sprinkle turkey pepperoni and mozzarella cheese on top.
8. Fold dough over top; pinch ends and sides together. Poke holes in the top of the dough and brush with the egg and milk mixture (OR melted butter).
9. Cook Stromboli in oven at 375 degrees for 25- 30 minutes on top rack of oven or until golden brown. Slice into individual sections to serve.
