2 sticks butter- softened
1 - 12 oz carton cottage cheese
2 c. flour
dash salt

Frosting
2 c. powdered sugar
2 T. butter softened
1/2 tsp. vanilla
2 T. milk

Directions:
Directions:
Cream margarine and cottage cheese. Add flour and salt. Refrigerate 4 hours or overnight. Divide dough into 3 equal parts. Roll each part into circle on well floored board. Cut into 12 wedges - a pizza cutter works best. Roll into butterhorn, starting the roll at the wide end and roll to point. Place on greased cookie sheet and bake 30 - 40 minutes.
Frosting
Mix all ingredients together, adjusting amount of milk to make frosting of spreading consistency. Frost cooled butterhorns.
