Ingredients:
Ingredients:
2 lbs. hamburger meat (I use ground chuck)
1 1/2 - 2 cups of water (I use 2 cups as I like my chili juicy)
tomato juice (large can, 64 oz.)
Half of a package of McCormick's mild chili mix
Half of a package of McCormick's hot chili mix
(OR just use one package of McCormick's original chili mix)
Minced onion (I use onion flakes from spice section)
1 can light red kidney beans, drained
Tabasco sauce as desired (I use 4 or 5 dashes)

If serving more than 6, I use 3 lbs. hamburger and 2 cans of beans, but you can adjust recipe to meet your needs and desire for hotter, juicier etc.

Directions:
Directions:
Put water in stock pot with minced onion and bring to a boil, then reduce to simmer. Cook hamburger meat, season as normal, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and drain. Add to meat 1/2 package of mild chili mix and 1/2 package of hot chili mix (or 1 package original). Add almost all of tomato juice to meat and stir. Pour meat into pot with water and add light red kidney beans. Taste to determine if you want more tomato juice. Add dashes of Tabasco. Let boil on low for 10-15 minutes.
