2 c. flour
2 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. water
3 T. cocoa
2 sticks of butter
1 tsp. soda
1/2 c. buttermilk
1 tsp. vanilla
2 eggs, well beaten

Frosting
1 stick butter
5 T. milk
1 box powdered sugar
3 T. cocoa
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. chopped pecans

Directions:

Sift flour, sugar and salt together. In pan bring butter, water and cocoa to boil. In another bowl mix eggs, soda, buttermilk and vanilla. Add flour mixture and mix well. Bake in greased and floured cookie sheet (15x10x1) in 350º oven for 20 minutes.Start icing last 5 minutes of cooking time.

Frosting
Mix butter, cocoa and milk in saucepan. Heat over low flame- do not boil. Remove and add sugar, pecans and vanilla. Pour on hot cake.
