2 cups butter
1 cup sugar
1 cup brown sugar
2 eggs beaten
1 tsp. vanilla
4 cups flour
1 tsp. baking soda
½ tsp. salt
Directions:
Directions:
Cream your butter and sugars. Add eggs and beat until well incorporated in the butter sugar mixture. Mix all dry ingredients then add them 1/2 cup at a time until gone. May want to refrigerate for an hour or so until it is easier to handle. Then form the cookie dough into logs wrap in plastic wrap and freeze. To bake. Slice dough to desires width and bake in a 350 degree oven until golden brown. To make different flavors add chips, raisins, or other ingredients if using cocoa powder decrease flour by 1/4 cup and add 1/4 cup cocoa.
