2 cups uncooked long-grain rice
1/3 to 1/2 oil
2 green onions, with tops
1/2 green bell pepper
1 tomato, thinly sliced
1/2 cup tomato sauce
3-1/2 cups chicken broth
1 (10 oz) pkg. frozen peas
Salt & pepper
1/2 tsp. garlic powder
1/4 tsp. cumin

In a large skillet cook rice in oil until golden brown. Add remaining ingredients and stir. Cover and cook over low heat for about 20 minutes or until rice is tender and liquid is absorbed.
