1 pkg hot Italian beef sausage (can use hot Italian turkey)
fresh spinach
Hot and spicy pepper pasta sauce
crushed red pepper flakes
1/2 onion, cut up
Asiago cheese or parmesan, freshly grated
basil

Directions:
Directions:
Cook sausage in 1 cup water and simmer for 20 minutes. Remove lid and cook another 20 minutes. Turning over as needed. When finished, remove from pan and set on paper towel to absorb any fat.

Boil water and cook pasta as directed on package.
While waiting for pasta. In large saucepan, cook onion in olive oil until translucent. Add cut up sausage (1 inch), pasta sauce, and red chilli peppers to onions. Simmer on low.
When pasta is cooked, drain well and add to sausage and pasta sauce, stirring well. Add chopped fresh spinach, cook for 2 minutes. Serve with grated cheese sprinkled on top.
