3 c. flour
1-1/2 tsp. salt
1-1/2 tsp. baking powder
2-1/4 c. sugar
3 eggs
1-1/2 c. milk
1 c. + 2 T. oil
3 T. poppy seeds
1-1/2 tsp. vanilla
1-1/2 tsp. almond flavoring
1-1/2 tsp. butter flavoring *

*can be found with almond extract, vanilla, etc. at grocery store.

Add ingredients in order listed in large bowl. Beat 2 minutes. Pour into (2) greased and floured loaf pans.
Bake at 325 for approximately one hour. Check for doneness with toothpick. Glaze while still warm. Refrigerate for easier slicing.

Glaze: 1 c. powdered sugar, 1/2 tsp. vanilla, 1/2 tsp. almond flavoring, 1/2 tsp. butter flavoring. Add milk to correct consistency (not too thin).
