3/4 cup butter softened
3/4 cup white sugar
3/4 cup brown sugar
2 eggs
1 t vanilla
1 1/2 cups flour
1 t baking soda
2 t cinnamon
1/2 t salt
3 cups rolled oats
1 cup of raisins

Directions:
Directions:
Most important** Boil water and pour into the raisins (let sit in the hot water to soak until you are ready to use them)
Cream butter and sugars. Add eggs, and vanilla. Blend until smooth. Add the flour baking soda, salt and cinnamon and blend. Add the rolled oats, and the drained raisins. Stir all together. Place tablespoon full of dough onto a cookie sheet lined with parchment.
Bake at 375º for 8-10 minutes. Do not overcook - the cookies will continue to cook on the hot pan for a minute or two more :)
