Wet ingredients:

1cup margarine
2 cups white sugar
2 cups raisins
1 1/2 tsp cinnamon
1 1/2 tsp cloves
2 cups boiling water

Dry ingredients:

3 1/2 cups flour
2tsp baking soda


Directions:
Directions:
Combine all wet ingredients in small pot & boil together for 4-5 minutes
set aside to cool.
Add dry ingredients.
Bake at 300º for 1 1/2 - 2 hours.

Nuts may be added if desired.
