8 oz, mascarpone cheese
1/2 c. sifted powdered sugar
3 tbsp. coffee liquor
2 c. whipping cream
1/4 c. sifted powdered sugar
2 tbsp. coffee liquor
1 8-10 inch round angel food cake
3/4 c. strong black coffee
1/4 c. coffee liquor

Mocha Fudge Sauce

1/4c. fudge ice cream topping
1-2 tbsp. coffee liquor

Chill a medium bowl and beaters. For filling, in a large bowl, combine mascarpone, 1/2 c. powd. sugar, 3 tbsp. coffee liquor. Beat with electric mixer on medium speed until blended and smooth.
In the chilled bowl, combine whipped cream, 1/4 c. powd. sugar and 2 tbsp. coffee liquor and beat until soft peaks form. Fold 1/2 c. whipped cream mixture into mascarpone mixture.
Using a serrated knife, cut cake into 3 layers. Place one cake layer on a serving platter. Poke holes in the tops of the layers with a fork. In a small bowl, combine coffee and 1/4 c. liquor and drizzle over each layer. Spread the first layer with 1/3 of mascarpone filling. Add second layer of cake, spread 1/2 mascarpone mixture. Top with final layer. Frost with remaining whipped cream mixture.
Cover and chill 2 hours.

Mocha Fudge Sauce: In a small saucepan, heat 1/4 c, fudge topping until just warm. Stir in 1-2 tsp. of liquor to drizzling consistency. Drizzle over top and sides of cake.
