3 lb ground beef (not super lean)
1 sweet onion chopped finely
fresh or dried parsley
2 eggs
2 pieces of toast chopped in small cubes
salt and pepper
1/2 c flour
1 c milk

Directions:
Directions:
Whip eggs. Add onion, bread crumbs, parsley, salt and pepper. Mix together.
Mix in ground beef.
Make a loaf shape in a cookie sheet or large pan with a 1 inch or more lip on the sides.
Sprinkle the flour on top.
Pour the milk on top.
Bake 350 close to an hour or until done. Continue to pour a little milk on top if it looks dry. The gravy forms around the meatloaf. Serve by slicing and topping with a spoonful of the gravy. Serve with mashed potatoes and green beans!
