4-5 pound whole chicken
6 stalks celery
8 carrots
2 onions
4 tablespoons salt
2 tablespoons black pepper
1 cup frozen peas
12 ounces egg noodles

Directions:
Directions:
Place chicken in large stock pot and add enough water to cover chicken by 1- inch. Add 1 onion cut into wedges, 2 carrots cut into chunks, 4 celery stalks with leaves cut into chunks, 2 tablespoons salt and 1 tablespoon pepper.
Bring to boil, cover and simmer for 2 hours.

When chicken is done remove from pot and allow to cool. strain broth and discard the veggies. When chicken is cool enough to handle remove from bone and return to the strained broth.

Return to boil, add the remaining carrot, celery and onion(all diced), the peas and the egg noodles. salt and pepper to taste.

Simmer for 10 minutes or until the noodles are done.
