1.5 lb ground beef
1/4 cup vegetable oil
1 large diced onion
1 cup of finely sliced celery
1 cup of hot water
1 tsp salt
1/4 tsp black pepper
1 large can of bean sprouts, drained and rinsed

1/2 cup cold water
2 tbsp cornstarch
2 tsp soy sauce
1 tsp sugar

Directions:
Directions:
Brown ground beef then drain fat.
Add vegetable oil then onion and heat for 5 minutes
Add celery, water, salt and pepper and cover and simmer for 5 more minutes.
Add bean sprouts and heat to boiling.

In a separate bowl, combine the cold water, the cornstarch, the soy sauce and the sugar.
Mix well and add to the main ingredients in the pot.
Cook for 5 minutes until the mixture starts to thicken.
