½ c. boiling water
2 ½ c. sugar
1 ½ Tbsp. butter
¼ tsp. salt
½ c. heavy cream
½ tsp. vanilla or mint flavoring

Directions:
Directions:
Add sugar into boiling water. Stir well. Add butter & salt. Stir until mixture is boiling good. Trickle in heavy cream. Cook to 280° F. on a candy thermometer or soft crack stage. Pour out on chilled marble slab. Sprinkle with flavoring. Gather up immediately & pull, pull, pull. Roll out & cut.
