2 Tbsp. vegetable oil
1 c. sugar
2 eggs, well beaten
4 c. flour
4 tsp. baking powder
¼ tsp. nutmeg
¼ tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. salt
¾ c. evaporated milk

Directions:
Directions:
Cream vegetable oil, sugar & eggs. Sift together flour, baking powder, nutmeg, cinnamon & salt. Add flour alternately with evaporated milk. Add ¼ to ½ cup more flour if necessary. Place on a well-floured board. Knead very lightly & pat out to ¼ inch in thickness. Cut with a doughnut cutter dipped in flour. Fry at 360° F. – 370° F. Drain the doughnuts on paper towels.
