1 1/2 cup oil
4 eggs
2 cups sugar
1 tsp baking soda
2 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp salt
2 cups flour
2 cups grated carrots
1 cup chopped nuts

Frosting:
8 oz cream cheese, softened
1 1/2 cup butter, softened
1 tsp vanilla
1 lb powdered sugar

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350º Prepare pans by lining with parchment paper and spraying lightly with cooking spray.
Mix in large bowl:
the oil, eggs, sugar, baking soda, cinnamon, and salt
Add flour and carrots. Blend well
then add nuts
Pour into pans.
Bake 45-50 minutes at 350º

I got this recipe from my mom's friend Phyllis Flamm. I have the original recipe card from like 1970. Thanks Mrs Flamm...It has been a tried and true cake we have enjoyed for years.
