12 ounces semi-sweet chocolate (squares or can use chips)
¾ cup heavy cream
4 Tablespoons butter, softened
¼ cup liqueur (optional)
Chopped pecans or almonds
Cocoa powder and/or chocolate sprinkles

Directions:
Directions:
In a food processor, pulse 12 ounces semi-sweet chocolate until finely ground. You can chop by hand if you don’t have a food processor.
In small saucepan, heat ¾ cup heavy cream to boiling over high heat. Pour over chopped chocolate and add 4 tablespoons softened butter and ¼ cup favorite liqueur to chocolate. Stir until smooth.
Line an 8” square baking pan with plastic wrap, pour in chocolate and spread evenly. Refrigerate at least 4 hours. Place ½ cup chopped pecans or almonds and ¼ cup unsweetened cocoa powder on separate sheets of waxed paper. Invert cold chocolate block onto a cutting board; peel off plastic. Cut block into 8 strips, cut each strip into 8 squares. Roll into balls and roll balls in sprinkles, cocoa powder and/or nuts. Store in tightly covered container in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks. Makes 64 truffles
