1/4 cup butter
1 cup brown sugar
1 tsp cream of tartar
1 cup white corn syrup
1 can sweetened condensed milk
1 12 oz pkg chocolate chips
1 tsp shaved wax
1 tsp shortening
1 lb peacans

Directions:
Directions:
Mix butter, brown sugar, cream of tartar, corn syrup, and sweetened concensed milk.
Boil for 12 minutes, stirring constantly
Remove from heat and cool.
Melt chocolate chips, wax, and shortening
Lay pecans in groups on waxed paper. Poor cooled caramel candy over nuts with a spoon.
Let set. Cover with melted chocolate. Let cool completely.
