1 c. butter, softened
1 c. sugar
2 eggs
3 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. almond extract
Food coloring of your choice

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 300º.

Cream butter and sugar together, add eggs and mix well. Add rest of the ingredients and mix until dough forms. Add food coloring of you choice. Squeeze through a cookie press.

Bake at 300º for 12-15 minutes.

These are actually called "Spritz" cookies but Reed now just calls the "my favorite cookies".
I usually only made these at Christmas and colored them red and green but Reed just loves these so we now make them anytime of the year and color them according to the season. Ex. Pastels at Easter/Spring, red, white and blue for the 4th of July. Rainbow colors whenever. We also like to mix the colors in the cookie press.
