1 19 oz can crushed pineapple
1 box Christie's round vanilla wafers
3/4 cup soft butter
2 well beaten eggs
2 and 1/2 cup icing sugar
1/2 pint whipping cream

Directions:
Directions:
Drain pineapple then roll wafers with rolling pin, finely. Add 1/4 cup soft butter - mix as for a pie crust. Keep 1/4 cup crumbs for top of cake. Put crumb mix in a 9X9X2 square pan and bake 10 minutes at 300º. Pat down. combine icing sugar, 1/2 cup butter and eggs. Cream thoroughly together and place by spoonfuls on top of baked caramel mix.

Whip 1/2 pint of whipping cream very stiff and fold in drained pineapple. Place this layer on the icing sugar mix by spoonfuls. Sprinkle with the crumbs and place in fridge over night. This dessert sets better if made the day before.
