1 large box instant vanilla pudding
3 c cold milk
1 loaf of pound cake or 1 9"{ angel food cake cut into cubes
3 peeled kiwis
1 package of fresh blueberries or 2 c thawed frozen ones
1 package of fresh strawberries or 2 c thawed frozen ones
1-2 small bags of finely chopped walnuts
1 container of whipped topping or a small carton of heavy whipping cream. If using the whipping cream add two T of sugar.

Wash the strawberries and let the moisture get off of them and then cut in halves. Peel the kiwi and cut into slices round wise. Wash the blueberries and let dry. If using frozen fruit, thaw, drain and cut strawberries into halves. Fix the pudding mix as directed on the box except with 3 c of milk. If you are making your own whipped topping and the 3 T sugar and put into a bowl and whip to the consistency of a container of whipped topping. In a trifle or other large bowl, layer 1/2 of the cake cubes, half of the pudding, half of the whipped topping. Repeat the layers. Sprinkle with the walnut pieces. Cover and chill.

You can use any kind of pudding taste that you like. If you are serving it before chilling, you can add a layer of bananas. I find that they brown to fast. It is very pretty in a trifle dish or a glass bowl. Everyone seems to love it.
