Notes: Gram Francis Madeja, made this with love. We called it the Polish Pound Cake, it is a pound cake but not polish. It was in reference to Gram who was polish and how she would treat us to this dessert. So we named it the Polish Pound Cake, in honor of a woman who indulged us all. She rarely iced it, because the cake stood on its own. It has been one of our favorites ever since. Cut into thin slices make it better.
