Pastry for a 9" pie
1 lb. lean ground pork
2 cups freshly mashed potatoes (plain)
1/2 tsp. salt
1 med onion-grated
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. allspice

Directions:
Directions:
Break up the pork in a pan, add water, just to cover. Cook over medium heat until water is absorbed. This should take about an hour. Remove excess fat, add mashed potatoes, spices and mix well.

Fill the bottom of pie shell, cover with top crust.

Bake at 400º for 30 minutes, until well browned.
