Ingredients:
Ingredients:
Vegetable Oil, For Frying
2 whole Green Onions, Light Green And Dark Green Parts, Chopped
8 ounces, Cream Cheese
1 clove Garlic, Minced
1 Tbsp. Sriracha Or Other Hot Sauce (more To Taste)
1 whole Egg
½ cup Water
1 pkg. Wonton Wraps (I bought the 12 oz. and only used about half)

Directions:
Directions:
1. Begin heating your oil on medium-high heat. Please be careful.
2. Warm up your cream cheese block in the microwave for about 10 seconds. Mix in the chopped onions, sriracha, and minced garlic, mix well.
3. In a separate bowl, mix together the egg and water.
4. One at a time, assemble the wontons: place 1/2 tsp. cream cheese mixture on 1 corner of a wonton wrapper. Use your finger to "paint' the egg wash all around the edges of the wrapper. Roll the wrapper on a diagonal, starting with the cream cheese corner and stopping when half the wrapper is rolled and the cream cheese mixture is inside. Bring up the two ends and use the egg wash to stick them together. Allow the remaining pointed end to naturally tuck backward. (The wontons should resemble tortellini.)
5. You may want to test the temperature of the oil by placing a piece of a wonton wrap in the pot. If it burns too quickly (dark brown after 20 seconds) it’s too hot. Yet, if it doesn’t brown after 1 minute it’s not hot enough.
6. Place about 4-5 wontons at a time in the pot. Let them cook until the edges are brown (only takes about a minute). Remove and place on a plate covered with paper towels to drain/cool a bit before you eat. DANGER: the cream cheese will be extremely hot! DON'T just pop one in your mouth. Let cool.
7. Healthier option- bake in a 400º oven for 5-8 minutes until golden brown. Spray baking sheet with non-stick spray.

Mom's Tip- While working with the wonton wrappers, keep the opened package covered in plastic wrap and a towel. They dry out quickly!
