3 cups flour
1 cup shortening or white lard
1 tsp salt
small amount of milk

Preheat Oven to 425º

Mix dry ingredients and lard together.
Add enough milk to make a soft dough form.
Roll out and fold over 2 or 3 times.
**For very flaky crust spread margarine between folds

This was Grandma Tilby's mothers recipe. It is a good pie crust but don't substitute butter/margarine for the lard/shortening.
