1/2 lb (2 sticks) butter
2 cups confectioners sugar
6 eggs
1/2 small bottle of anise flavoring
5 cups flour
5 tsps baking powder

Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter and confectioners sugar. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Add anise flavoring. Mix flour and baking powder together and then gradually add to batter mixing well. Roll into balls and drop onto lightly greased cookie sheets. Bake at 375º for 10 minutes. Frost and sprinkle with colored sugar or sprinkles. Can use colored frosting also.
