Ingredients: Marinade: 2 cups vegetable oil 1 cup soy sauce 1 cup Worcestershire sauce 1/2 cup pineapple juice 2 tbsp granulated garlic ( or 1 tbsp garlic powder) 2 tbsp fresh ground black pepper 2 tbsp dry mustard
Steak butter: 1/2 cup crumbled blue cheese 1/4 cup butter 1/8 cup of bacon and chopped into bits or use Baco's

Directions:Marinade: Mix all ingredients in bowl and marinate steaks overnight or for 10 hours in refrigerator. Makes enough for about 4 good-size ribeyes.
Blue cheese butter topping: Set butter out to soften. When butter is very soft, fold in the blue cheese. Don't mix heavily; you want the blue cheese still a little crumbly. Fold in bacon bits. Scoop out onto a piece of plastic and roll into a log; put wrapped log into the fridge. When hardened you can serve it like that or slice into discs and put two disks on each steak. Also good melted over vegetables such as hot green beans. |

Notes: My best memories of my Dad are standing over his grill flaring up his Kingsford Charcoal. (because to him, if you didn't have Kingsford, you might as well just boil it.) He loved and was very passionate about cooking his steaks. At a restaurant he was embarrassing because he would be adamant about "it will be right or I will send it back." I knew I had a hit with this marinade and the blue cheese topping when he told me "Son, that is the best steak I have ever had."
Do not turn up your nose at putting this Blue Cheese Butter on top. Everyone will say "No thanks, just the steak," but no one has EVER not put it on again after first trying it.
