2 pre-baked 9-inch pie shell
2 cups brown sugar

3 cups milk
3 cups boiling water

Directions:
Combine brown sugar, water, soda, vanilla and butter. Bring to full boil. Blend remaining ingredients. Add to hot mixture, slowly, stirring as you go, so you don't scramble the eggs. Boil for 1 minute.
Pour into baked pie crust. I pour mine through a small strainer, just to make sure no lumps go into the pie.

This is my daughter's favorite. Mom would fix this a lot. I need to continue with her tradition and fix it often for my daughter.
