1 cup Wesson oil
1 ½ cup sugar
3 eggs
2 cups flour
3/4 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon soda
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1 teaspoon nutmeg
1 teaspoon all spice
1 cup buttermilk
2 cups cooked prunes
1 cup nuts
1 teaspoon vanilla.
Sauce:
1 tablespoon Karo
1 cup sugar
1/2 cup buttermilk
1 stick margarine
1/2 teaspoon soda (dissolve in buttermilk)
1 teaspoon vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Cream oil and sugar. Add eggs to creamed sugar and oil. Beat well. Sift dry ingredients and add along with buttermilk. Add prunes, nuts and vanilla.
Bake in a greased 9x13 pan at 350 degrees for 35-40 minutes

Sauce:
Cook until soft ball forms. Cool a little and beat with spoon. Pour over hot cake. Use a toothpick to punch holes in cake before pouring the sauce over it.
