4 cups plain flour (save 1 cup for fruit)
Water glass of whiskey
1 heaping teaspoon baking powder
1 heaping teaspoon cinnamon
1 heaping teaspoon allspice
1 heaping teaspoon nutmeg
2 cups candied pineapple
2 cups candied cherries
1 box dates
optional citron and orange peel
Pecans - as many as you can afford
