Notes: While Flapper Pie was perhaps our family's favourite dessert, another one that she often served was Pineapple Delight. Not as fussy to make, Mum served it for teas, for special family dinners, and any other occasion that required something a little more special. It was not until the last year of her life that she told me that Pineapple Delight actually came from Auntie Llu's recipe box. Flapper Pie was definitely Mum's recipe!
