3/4 cup butter, softened
3/4 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup corn syrup
1 egg
2 tsp vanilla
2 1/2 cups flour
1 tsp baking soda
1/4 tsp salt
1 pkg (11 oz) caramel bits/chips
1 cup semi sweet chocolate chips
1 tbsp sea salt

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

Beat butter and sugar with electric mixer in large bowl until fluffy. Beat in corn syrup, egg and vanilla. Gradually beat in flour, baking soda and salt.

Stir in caramel bits and chocolate chips.

Drop dough by heaping tablespoonfuls onto lightly greased baking sheet. Lightly sprinkle with salt and press into dough.

Bake 9-11 minutes or until lightly golden brown. Cool 2 minutes on pan, remove and place on wire rack.
