3 lb beef chuck, top or bottom roast
1 ounce packet of dry ranch seasoning mix
1 ounce packet of dry au jus gravy mix
6 TBSP unsalted butter
1/4 cup water
8 Pepperoncini

For sandwiches: provolone cheese slices and ciabatta rolls
For pot roast: carrots, onions and potatoes

Directions:
Directions:
Pour water into crock pot and add roast. Sprinkle with packets of ranch and au jus gravy mix. Put butter on top and place pepperonchini around the roast. Cover and cook on low for 8 hours, then remove from crock pot and shred.

If cooking with vegetables, add them after 4 hours.

If making sandwiches, place provolone cheese on chicabatta rolls under broiler for a short time and add meat and serve.
