1 1/2 pounds veal
2 eggs
1 tbs. lemon juice
1/4 tsp. thyme
1 clove garlic-crushed
1/8 tsp pepper and 1/4 tsp salt
1 1/2 cup bread crumbs
1/2 cup flour
1 1/2 cup sliced fresh mushrooms
1/2 cup sliced green onion
1 10 1/2 oz. beef broth
1 cup Marsala wine
1/2 cup live oil and 1/2 cup butter

Cut veal in serving pieces and flatten slightly.
Beat eggs with lemon juice, garlic, thyme , salt and pepper.
Marinate veal in egg mixture for 15 minutes. Dip veal lightly in bread crumbs and chill for 30 minutes.
In a frying pan, eat oil and butter. Dip each piece of veal into flour and fry for 2 minutes or til golden brown. Layer each piece into a 2 qt. casserole . In the same pan , saute mushrooms and green onions for 3 minutes- - add broth and wine and cook for another 3 minutes.
Pour this mixture over the veal.

At this point you can put the dish aside and cook later. Cover dish with foil . Next day- remove from
refrigerator and get to room temperature.
Bake 325 degrees for 30 minutes.
