1 1/2 lb ground beef, cooked
1 medium head cabbage, finely shredded
1 small onion, chopped
salt and pepper

Prepare Sweet Dough. Roll out dough to between 1/8"-1/4" thickness and cut into 5" or 6" squares. Cook cabbage and onion over medium heat in a little oil, until cabbage and onion are softened. Mix with hamburger. Place heaping Tblsp of mixture in center of dough square. Pull opposite corners together and pinch to hold. Pull opposite two corners together and pinch all edges together to seal filling. Turn Runza over and put on a cookie sheet, about 2" apart. Let rise for 15 minutes. Bake at 350º for 15-20 minutes.

My mom was a cook at a small school for a couple of years. This was one of the recipes she made for lunch. She made them at home for us, as we all loved them. They are so good, but I could never make them as good as my mom!
